family days

These are just some of our newest pics. Last Sat. after many COLD Colorado days indoors, we needed to get out. Everyone was feeling a little cooped up. We headed to Focus on the Family's FREE indoor playground. It's a winter highlight here in CO Springs. The kids burn some energy in the toddler room where they can climb soft surface obstacles like a hollow log, canoe, bridge slide, lily pads, etc. They also enjoy the room with a stage for dancing and watching yourself in a TV, puppets and reading books on stadium seating couches. The following few pics are at Focus running wild. Eli has discovered his tongue this week. He spits and blows raspberries and sticks his tongue out to be funny! I have the best video if it will load (which mine never do for some reason). But here he is caught in action. Although absolutely freezing lately, the kids had an itch to shovel. So Derrick braved it one morning with Kai and Addie to shovel the backyard into one giant mound. Kai shoveled and Addie basically walked around as a giant marshmallow. We are 3 deep in the tub now. The non-difference in size of Addie and Eli in this pic amazed Derrick and I. Twins?
