Kai loves to lay around in his diaper! He's always been a "warm-blooded" child, so it makes sense he thrives naked. He has figured out that the blanket on our bed is fleece and is good to nap on and have tummy time on. These pics are from diaper time with dad. He may be coming down with a cold, prayerfully nothing more. We had some congestion today. So please keep him in your thoughts and prayers.

A weekend of fotos
Some friends gave us this Winnie the Pooh walker and I've been anxious to get Kai in it. The first try was not too successful. I was more excited about him sitting in it than he was. I got so wrapped up in the moment making him smile, that his head and chest broken free and crashed straight ahead into the tray of toys. Not very fun after that. Although, now that his head is somewhat stronger and we placed some support blankets around him, he is enthralled with the toys on the tray and his own ability to be looking at me eye to eye.
I think next time I'll adjust it properly so his feet aren't hanging into space!
Kai is the "Leaning Tower of Piaza" in his Bumbo chair (never been to Europe, so don't know if I actually spelled that right?). That head is heavy with "the smarts" and increasingly accumulating hair!
This little sideways grin reminds me of the many flirts Kai has been giving lately. He leans his head to one side and then pops you a little smile. Pretty effective I might add. Just wait till he hits you!
Temperatures in Colorado were excellent this past weekend so we decided to take advantage! Despite the melting snow and mud, we trudged along the Santa Fe trail in Monument with Grandma Carrie and visited Daddy at the skatepark. It was a bumpy ride, but he somehow managed to sneek a nap in anyway. I'll have to have him teach me that trick.

Body moving!
Finally our little guy rolled over by himself (tummy to back)! He's been so close, so many times. It wasn't a "flook"...we've seen him do it again now. He pushes his feet until his butt is as high in the air as possible and then swings that head to the side. It's pretty funny to watch the struggle.
Once he gets onto his back and we start praising him for a good job.....he knows he's accomplished something great!
Kai also has started to use his "Bumbo chair." It really helps his core strength and head control in attempting to sit up! He's getting there. After about 3-5 minutes he starts to get "floppy" on us. But he loves to be up and see everything on his own.
